I was waiting for this thread. I haven't been here long, so I was surprised to see how many threads there were and especially ones about what the opponent newspaper articles were writing. What's with all the insecurity. If it truly is just another nov game, why don't we act like it?! Tough loss, credit given to mavs, but no one will give a about this game next time this week.
Thanks for showing up and telling us all how to be fans...we were aimless and directionless until you arrived..and now? We've seen the light. Thanks to you. It's all because of you.

Here at SpursTalk some fans make it an obligation to go overboard over a loss, because they feel the Spurs should go 82-0. Every team has those types of fans.
No Kidding! It would be different if we actually looked good in the game and the mavs still beat us. We looked terrible and I don't think it was because the mavs were playing great D on us or anything. We made way too many mistakes!!!! That was the worst we looked all year. Who cares, it's one game, Tony didn't even show up. Now if they dominate us like that all year, then it is a different story. RELAX MAN!

I merely didn't see the point in some of the mass hysteria posts I was reading, considering how most of us say that its just november, etc. Thus I was responding to the thread. And judging from what other people have said, I'm not the only spurs fan to think so. Of course its a message board which is why I said you or anyone can all they like, but I'm also allowed to voice my opinion as well. And if I came off as superior, that was not my intention.

If you want to be the board messiah you might want to stop doing insensitive bull like that...especially since the freaking word is spelled right there in front of you as you are reply.
I think we all realize it's a regular season game in November, but no one wants to lose to your rival. Any time you lose to your rival in the regular season, especially when you're down most of the game by double digits, it's frustrating.
