There's usually a 24 hr Walgreens open like the one at the medical center. Might want to call around. I'm driving in tonight for tomorrow's game so if I see anything I'll let you know if you still need anything.

For those of us that have been around for a while, this was the funniest response in the thread, hands down.

So SW, I guess this means Santa brought you some new "toys" too.

I meant for the Robosapien, though....have you seen the pincers on that thing?!?

Yeah, but fortunately the very best one of the lot doesn't require them....

I guess Robosapien is the hot toy this year? I hadn't heard of it, so I went to their website. Check this out the text below from the "About" section of the Robosapien website:

Welcome to the Wow Wee Robosapien website, your official source for information about the first affordable humanoid robot.

Loaded with at ude and intelligence, Robosapien is the first robot based on the science of applied biomorphic robotics.

Designed by a scientist, Robosapien is ready to go right out of the box (just install his batteries). He comes to life at a touch of the ergonomically designed remote controller! Command him to perform one of his pre-programmed functions or program your own sequence of functions.

The only limitation is your own imagination.

    About Robosapien:

Robosapien is packed with an awesome number of features made possible by advanced technologies:

67 pre-programmed functions: pick-up, throw, kick, dance, kung-fu, fart, belch, rap and more; 3 demonstration modes.

Fluid motions and gestures: fast dynamic 2-speed walking and turning; full-function arms with two types of grippers. Moms really love the grippers - kids can program Robosapien to pick up trash with them or hold their homework so it won't get lost; plus there's a special G-Spot stimulator program for when the kids are at soccer practice and Dad's out of town. The science of applied biomorphic robotics services the whole family's needs!

Fully programmable by remote control: Up to 84 program steps with 4 program modes for advanced operations; programmable “reflexes” to sound and touch stimuli.

    Fluent international “caveman” speech.

    Extended battery life.

    About Mark Tilden:
Mark, the designer of Robosapien, is a robotics physicist who has worked for NASA, DARPA and JPL through Los Alamos National Laboratory. He developed the basics for biomorphic robotics in 1988; Robosapien is the first commercially available robot based upon this principle.

no wonder all the moms were buying this one.
