Who you got and why? I would take Owens he brings it every practice and every game. He has never quit on his team. Moss is great too but took those Oakland years off.

Moss when motivated as he is now may be not just the best WR in football, but the best player.

See, I could go either way. On the one hand I agree with you that TO is a work horse, but on the other hand, Moss makes catches that no other receiver in the league could........ever.

    Hmmmm..........Moss.

Both of them stopped being heads for a season though.

    That's good I suppose.

No, he just destroys the team and bashes the QB publicly. That's much better.

Owens is more complete, and can do everything well, doesn't really lack in any area.

Moss is the most dangerous threat in NFL history. He is the only guy you can say is just a TD waiting to happen every down, EVER. He's not a very good route runner or blocker, but he more than makes up for that with his playmaking ability and speed.

If I was building a team, I would take Moss, because he is that unique threat that the NFL has never seen before, and his deep presence takes a LOT of pressure of the entire rest of the team, allowing average players to look very solid, such as Wes Welker and Nate Burleson.

If I had a team with a big time QB, good O line, and several complementary receivers to catch the underneath stuff and keep defenses honest then I definitely take Moss. He'll smoke people if you go 1 on 1 and he'll open up the underneath routes if you double over the top.

If I need a workhorse WR who will go over the middle, in the flats, motion out to or out of the slot, and catch first downs then I go with TO.

I would take Moss over any reciever ever, I think he is by far the most disruptive force ever at his position. I love T.O., but the only thing he really does better is run block.

100% agree. I love TO as well but come on, you got to pick Moss. I think a better question would you rather have TO or Marvin Harrison.

He's only effective if you have a QB and O line good enough to get him the ball deep when he wants it. Otherwise, he'll quit on the team.

    Of course, so will TO.

Moss has been running perfect routes this year, because he is highly motivated.

Moss is the better receiver and less cancerous.

In Oakland Moss's lack of effort was a byproduct of his horrid surroundings (why bust your ass when the team is going nowhere and has no chance of going anywhere, and the QB can't deliver the ball), while Owens down in Dallas helped poison the water, and has left a trail of broken locke rooms in his wake.

I'd rather have someone who takes plays off here and there over one who constantly is at odds with coaches and teamates and has a need for the spotlight. When the going gets rough his mouth starts running.

I'm not condoning lack of effort, but go with the lesser evil. And once properly motivated and in good surroundings Moss has been the ideal teammate (according to Patriots players).

Owens is the type that even when in a good situation will find reasons to be unhappy.

Both are elite receivers, but Moss is faster and has better hands. He can make catches that no one else can. Sometimes Owens has alligator arms. He's a beast to tackle, and a great compe or... but I'd rather have a receiver that can come down with the ball in double coverage and stretch the field with his speed and reputation.

    Give me Moss all day.

That's an interesting statement, but you make a good point.

Moss is a cancer when you have a bad team.

T.O. can be a cancer even if you have a good team. I think the clock may still be ticking on him next year.

i'm an enormous cowboys homer, but i have to agree with this. TO is greatness, but Moss is just a freak in the right situation. last year when the colts beat the pats in the AFC championship i remember thinking "yeah i guess the pats run is kinda over."

i was stupid. i'd take moss.

I don't see Owens being cancerous this year or next or any others if he is still with the Cowboys. Tony and him have a good connection and he likes Wade Phillips a lot.

As far as who I would take. The obvious answer is Randy Moss.

We'll see about TO, but now that Romo has a new huge contract (remember it was Mcnabbs big deal without him getting a new deal that pissed TO off) i can see TO being a this offseason demanding more money. Who do you think thinks he's the reason Romo is so good?

that being said i'd take Moss.
