What do you think the chances are they meet in the Cotton Bowl after the loss?
Of course us Hog fans only want this cause it's in Dallas, it's Texas, and it only helps recruiting we always seem to lack.
In theory, the second place Big 12 team typically gets the Cotton Bowl. I know that Tech and A&M have gone lately when they weren't second so I guess anything's possible. 9-3 Texas and 8-4 Arkansas would be a good matchup. Texas hasn't been since the LSU year - think it was 03. I remember Arkansas losing to OU in the Cotton Bowl the same year they beat Texas at home - maybe it was the year before?
Nah it was 03. 10-3 OU won. I remember everyone going on about our defense has to step up, then our offense never showed up.
i could see UT boning up for the run, and passing for 600 yards against us.
Not trying to bring fighting words but it wouldn't matter what Texas did, they will not stop Arkansas' run.
