Wow.
for some reason we just cant win back2back les.....no i hope i am wrong and hope duncan is ok...but it could easily be torn and he can be out the season...and even if he came back..how healthy would he really be? we are going to need duncan to be great in the playoffs for us to repeat period.........
but if the spurs do not repeat this season....its because of this injury...which would really suck
shut up guys...it is not even a big injury...
He had bigger injuries than this in 2005 and led the team to championship
Suicide watch continues!
Seriously, this is the same TD who led the Spurs to their best record ever while playing on one leg two seasons ago. Chill the out.
Talk about jumping to conclusions.
More annoying than Scola threads . . .
Yeah lets wait for the verdict first dude....If he was carried all the way into the locker room, or put into a wheelchair then I would have been concerned. We should know something tommorow.
Since the ABA/NBA merger preceding the 1976-77 season, only one franchise in the NBA has won more regular season games than the Spurs. Since that time, only one franchise has played in more playoff games than the Spurs; only 1 franchise has won more playoff games than the Spurs; only one franchise has played in more playoff series than the Spurs; and only 2 franchises have won more playoff series than the Spurs. And, oh yeah, only 2 franchises have won more championships than the Spurs (the Celtics and Pistons each have 3 les since the merger).
We've had two of the greatest big men in the history of the game play their entire careers for our team. We've gotten to watch a masterful coach build a franchise that can sustain greatness and not just hope that greatness might somehow visit it from time-to-time.
So pardon me if I don't buy the "cursed" nonsense. It might be a tough break that the Spurs suffered today (it might not) and it might be that the Spurs don't repeat (because of that bad break, or for other reasons). I can think of a lot of different words to describe the Spurs, but "cursed" is certainly not one of them.
Let's get a grip, please!
We can go without Tim for months and still post up a record that is better than .600.
... and crying.
Dumbest thread ever.
Spurs basically said as loud as they can without making it official that Tim is fine. All the major ligaments were not torn. Seems like a longshot they are gong to do the MRI tomorrow and say he is done for the year. Lets not panic into thinking this will be Oden or Amare.
While screaming for someone to get him a Midol and a Snickers...
That's right - you have to really push it to be more annoying than the Scola thread. This thread doesn't deliver.. I can't believe people are crying already:
we are dead!
we are doomed!
we are screwed!
we can't win back to back!
we are cursed!
we have idiot fans!
More like jumping off a roof.
"...but it could easily be torn and he can be out the season...and even if he came back..how healthy would he really be?"
Please, somebody shoot this guy now.
Nevermind, just hand him a gun...he'll do it himself.
It'll take more than a bruised knee to stop this team.
well done
throw this clown of the bandwagon
Looked awkward when he went down... even without Tim for an extended time in the regular season the team has enough offensive fire power now to go at about .600 ... and then Manu would get the minutes to post Kobe like numbers.
Its the playoffs when we would get killed
If thats a curse.. thats a curse pretty much every sport team would love to have. You guys have had an amazing run and still have plenty more to that run.. I wouldn't be in shock if you guys finally repeat this year.
