So, as a lifetime Arizona State fan and a Texas A&M graduate, this bowl has quite a lot of "meaning" for me. Also, I resent you saying the Pac-10 co-champions "suck worse than you" since Texas lost to OU on a neutral field, K-State at home, and A&M on the road.
I would agree that at least half (16) of the 32 bowl games are meaningless to non-fans, but this bowl season is chock full of great and interesting bowl matches, including such questions as:
"Does Arizona State 'suck' like BeerIsGood says they do?"
"Is the SEC really that great of a conference?"
"Will OU get busted by a healthy Pat White and will Sooner fans finally STFU with their 'what if' questions?"
"Will Kansas prove they deserved a BCS shot over Missouri?"
"Will Mizzou destroy a Nutt-less Arkansas team in the Cotton Bowl to avenge their snubbing?"
"Will Ohio State fight back for the Big 10 or get blown out again, continuing the conference's slide to 2nd tier in every major sport?"
"Will anyone care about the Houston Bowl?"
"How boring will the Illinois-USC game be except for the 'Pete Carroll Face vs. Ron Zook Face' drinking game (i.e. the battle of gray-haired clueless looking buffoons)?"
"How much does it suck to have to watch Tulsa, Bowling Green, Rutgers, and Ball State play during the 4 days between the Orange Bowl and BCS NC?"
"Will the Sugar Bowl finally prove that Colt Brennan is just a y, ty system QB?"
