I know many of you don't care about the Broncos, but one subject that everyone seems to have an opinion on in regards to this team is the giant ego of Mike Shanahan.

So my question is this, would you fire Shanahan?

I've been defending this guy for the past several seasons but I'm done doing that. He's brought in a bunch of over priced, under producing talent. He's fired countless coordinators throughout the last decade. The best season he had was one in which they went 13-3 and made it to the AFC championship, but anyone that watched every game that season knows they got real lucky to get to that point.

I'm done with Shanahan, bring in the Tuna.

    What do you guys think.

Oh, and stretch, I can't ing believe the Broncos are bad enough that the Raiders could experiment with rookie quarterbacks. Russell looked good.

I wouldn't bring in Parcells but getting rid of Shanahan might not be a bad idea.

    Tuna? Looking for a rebuild?

THey have to at this point. Every year since Elway retired, Shanahan has tried to build a new team around free agency. THat obviously doesn't work in the NFL, at some point, you have to break down and rebuild based on young talent with potential and he refuses to do that. His logic is always that he's putting together a "Super Bowl team" year in and year out and yet they never come close.

Oh, and his offense is far to vanilla for the NFL anymore. Opposing defenses are a touch more prepared for "stretch left, stretch right, play action bootleg", over and over and over and over again.

I know, I'm just trying to think of the exact opposite of Shanahan.

I'm glad to finally see him on the field. Hopefully he plays a full game next week.

Alright, what do you guys think of this, the Broncos fire Mike Shanahan and after years and years of heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, choke jobs at the hands of this very team, Marty ball comes to Denver?

Cut Jay Cutler, and the Broncos win the SuperBowl.

Gary Kubiak is better at Shana-ball than Shanahan is.

I don't know if Shanahan needs to go..but..I do remember somone saying that every year recently the Broncos have had a team that is good enough to make the playoffs and good enough to get destroyed in the playoffs.

They always seem to just get destroyed once they get in the playoffs.

    Jason Garret anyone????

I really like what Jason is doing, but IMO making him a head coach right now would be a big mistake. Garret basically walked into a great situation with a great offense who put up big numbers last year with Romo only starting for half the season. He also has the guy who ran that offense, Tony Sparano, on his staff to aid him in preparing this offense. I think Garret will be a good head coach someday, but he needs a lot more seasoning before making that change to avoid getting in over his head.
