Whatsup Spurs fans! First off wanted to thank you guys for welcoming us here, we at www.dubsball.com (a new, humble little Warriors blog) have enjoyed your forum. This is definitely the #1 bball forum out there. I like how we respect each other, (unlike mavs/suns fans who are so bitter), and we truly feel you are the only team we aren't better than...

Also, we have a strong connection in Jack. We share love and respect for him, cuz so many people judge him in the wrong way, only his real teams know how valuable he is. Captain Jack is the man! He is worshiped in Oakland along with BD and Nellie!

But now comes our game TONIGHT
... I'll be there live myself, and we'll be posting live pics to our site, but I wanted to start an ish-talking thread now!!!

Here's what will happen: Nellie will go small, no Centers, no PF's, only 1's 2's and 3's baby! Drive, kick out, drive, kick out, and collapse on Duncan will be the plan. As long as Manu and Parker hit their shots, you guys will be OK, but if they miss, the magic of the Oracle and HARDWOOD CLASSICS NIGHT will stir an upset! (Vegas only has you guys by 3 anyways!)

P.S. We have a secret weapon, his name is BOOKIE. Look out for him.

P.P.S. We have another secret weapon, his name is MBENGA! (silent 'M').

Is the crowd still insane like it was when GS beat that fluke team last playoffs? Or are is back to normal?

HAHAHA If it's a run game, it's insane for sure. You have to keep our crowd out of it to win in Oracle... do that, and you got the game won.

It's a yawn for you, but huge for us humble Warriors who only tasted the playoffs once in the last 13 years

Fair enough. I shouldn't splash cold water on your fun. Fact is, that was the most satisfying playoff series I ever watched. I still have the elimination game on my PVR.

HAHAHA ME TOO! Ahhh funny how we bond on hating Cuban and the Mavs, and the whining of the Suns.

Didn't we beat the Warriors by like 30 or 40 points respectively that last TWO times we played them last year? Yea, I don't think we really have much to prove. Even if we lose by 30 ourselves, Golden State is still simply trying to catch back up.

So you are going extra small against Duncan, good luck, I still remember when the power forward in 'O5 against Duncan was Prince, and they sent help his way every time, as to what happened see the Championship vidio.

I don't think GS has matched up nearly as well with the Spurs as they have with the Mavs. Nellie never figured out how to beat the Spurs when he was the Dallas coach; I half expect him to start playing hack-a-Bowen some time in the second quarter. I don't recall Jack playing with a chip on his shoulder against the Spurs, either. It'll be fun to see the Spurs playing a team that's on a hot streak, though.

That was a really entertaining series to watch, GS vs Dallas in the playoffs. I was rooting for you guys to beat Dallas...Baron Davis is an amazing player...I also like Matt Barnes and the other GS players...

earlier, i watched a rerun of game 6 of the 2003 WCF between the Spurs and the Mavs. Captain Jack was keeping the Spurs in the game. he and Steve Kerr won it for the Spurs that night. mavs where ahead most of the game and was up 12 entering the 4th. outscored them like 30+ to 5 in the final quarter. hehehe. gotta love the look on cuban's face as he watched his team lose bigtime at home.

okay, back to the topic at hand.... don't be too upset if the spurs beat the warriors badly.

I love the Warriors. Full of players I enjoy watching.

I still have a mancrush on Stephen Jackson as well. Captain Jack is so lame, call him by his real nick, Buckets.

Anyway, I'm expecting a letdown for the Spurs and the Warriors to win by 10+

I think this game will be quite entertaining. Spurs by 7, though, I'd say.

So by the thread le, I take it that Golden State fans know they are going to lose tonight and are already upset about it.

It's all right guys. You'll always have Dallas and the first round of the play offs.

    That said....

    Go Spurs!

I love the Warriors. Probably because I love me some Stephen Jackson. That rookie Bookie is outstanding. I hope Baron Davis and Tony Parker go at each other like they did a while back. The Warriors are very entertaining and I am excited to watch them play. They should put more of their games on ESPN and TNT.

All that said, I hope the Spurs kill them tonight.

I almost wish Pop would rest Tim one more game, so we could watch a fast paced up and down from both teams.

But the Spurs will get whatever they want. Tim could go for a 20-20 game. Tony and Manu will have a field day driving the lane.

    Spurs by at least 10.

Spurs are a nightmare matchup for the Warriors. Regular season game, though, with Duncan either out or off-rhythm. Could be a game.
