Those numbers are misleading. He gets assists just because he always passes to Brent Barry (who is a very good shooter), he's often on the floor with players like Matt Bonner and Vaughn (who miss many shots, so there's more rebound attempts) and he gets easy buckets because those three shoot so much that they spread the floor so he can get to the rim.
