    . . . in the Mitc report.

    David Ortiz.

    Ken Griffey, Jr.

    Roger Clemens.

    Who else?

I agree with Griffey. I'll add a few others of my own:

Alex Rodriguez -- I'm not sure ARod could take that and the that would come with it.

Cal Ripken, Jr., Craig Biggio, Julio Franco -- longevity guys might fit the bill, but I feel fairly confident that these guys aren't roiders.

Curt Schilling -- say what you will about the guy, but I appreciate his public candor and his compe ive fire.

Manny Ramirez and Vlad Guerrero -- I'm taken by their natural ability to hit a baseball and would hate to think that they're tainted.

    it was certainly su ious.

arguments in his favor would be that it was just a one year power e from a player who had shown the ability to hit HRs before, but was completely locked in during the 1996 season.

in addition, it wasn't completely unprecedented. davey johnson had a similar track record before the days of roids.

i would argue that the longevity is in their favor for being clean.

in addition, each of those guys experienced a normal career arc. not coming from the rafters to have some of the best seasons in baseball history at 38, 39, 40 years old.

If Cal or Gwynn are on there baseball would just die. I would be dissapointed to see Griffey on that list.

If guys like Griffey, A-Rod, Jeter, etc. are on the list, baseball just might be screwed.

    Biggio and Bagwell.
I have a feeling Bagwell will be named but not Biggio.

I really hope Biggio isn't on that list. He's the greatest Astro ever IMO.

    Alex Rodriguez...

I know he's an ahole but I still want him to be a legit great player....as he's in the argument for the greatest player in history. I'd like that to be real...

"Several prominent Yankees" set to be named too according to info given to the Mike & Mike staff. I hope A Rod isn't named, though. I'm not a Yankees fan but like whottt, I want his career accomplishments to be legit.

On the Clemens thing... what they said on Mike & Mike was that Clemens' and Pet e's trainer said that he obtained steroids for Clemens. The info didn't seem to implicate Pet e, just that the trainer worked with both Andy and Roger.

Clemens: blossomed in his 40's like Barry Bonds.
Bagwell: suddenly blew up like a balloon in 1994. Grew freakish beard in 2000 to conceal acne.

former New York Yankee strength trainer says information he provided to the George Mitc investigation regarding supplying Roger Clemens with steroids is included in the Mitc report scheduled to be released later today, a source close to the trainer told ESPN The Magazine's Shaun Assael.

Brian McNamee, who worked for the Yankees and as a personal trainer for Clemens and Yankee teammates Andy Pet te, also told investigators that on at least one occasion, Clemens was in possession of steroids from another supplier, the source said.

It is all such a witch hunt! Anabolic steroids & testosterone shots administered by qualified, knowledgeable MD’s are a good thing...

More muscularity, faster recovery between work outs & rapid recovery from sports injuries...Why isn’t anyone complaining about the 1970’s Pittsburg Stealers who helped make enhancement drugs main stream?

ESPN just confirmed Clemens and Pe are on the list. Said the list could be as high as 80 people.

Because it's cheating. Although a case for surgery that repairs ligaments and makes them better can be classified as cheating too.
