That's just the way it is. The media likes covering large-marketed teams with superstars.
Last night's game between the Spurs and the Suns was probably the best game of the season so far. It was hyped as the match-up between the best offensive team and the best defensive team - yet nba.com has a picture of Kobe instead of Tony Parker!!! Yes, Kobe scored 40+ points, but they beat the Raptors - come on, how much of a challenge was that?!
The Spurs annilated the team with the best record in the league and all we get is a lukewarm article. Makes me so angry!![]()

Most of the NBA media sucks.
Steven A. Smith of ESPN is the biggest bag alive. His partners of Greg Anthony and Tim Legler are morons also.
Wasn't Manu just on the cover yesterday?...![]()
oo one day, wouldnt want the NBA to hurt themselves promoting the best team in the NBA.Wasn't Manu just on the cover yesterday?...
It honestly doesnt bother me, stuff like that doesnt matter.
Win the ring in june and theyll have pictures of the Spurs all over the place.
