Any one have some insights about why Duncan sat so long in the fourth quarter. I thoguht he was going to take a quick blow but he ended up not coming back til the 3:20(?) mark of the fourth quarter. He probably would've sat even a little longer if the Suns hadn't taken a timeout.

I understand resting him for some longer stretches early in the game, but it seemed like down the stretch he sat a little too long to determine the outcome of the game (in a very close game). Was it just a matter of Pop not wanting to let his minutes get away from him? He did log 36 minutes.

    I'm not sure.
He did lose some stamina in the 3rd, he's far from game shape and he had a of a game.

I'm going to wait for timvp's game thoughts, I'm sure he'll have the best insight.

Its December and you don't burn out your chise in a game that at the end of the year will mean as much as a November game vs the Clippers.
