I think they will. They are going to make the playoffs this year and then add a 290 lb monster to their team next season. Everything is coming together more quickly than I expected.

If the Blazers with this core of players ever does win a le at all, my guess would be it would not be earlier than the 2010-2011 season. And, not that I would hope anything bad on the kid, but Oden's effectiveness upon return and his ability to stay injury-free will be very much serious concerns over the next few seasons.

I really hope, for everyone in blazer land, that Oden is not a bust...it is a very VERY strong possibility, but i hope for the NBA even, that he is what he is supposed to be.
