It was close but I pulled it off. In another league I was playing for third and it pisses me off because I could have taken 1st but last week Romo decided not to show up.

I did very well this year. I finished fifth in a 12-team league with an 8-6 record. Unfortunately, only 4 teams went to the playoffs. In another yahoo league where I was the commish, I finished 10-3 and in second place with a first-round bye. Unfortunately I was upset in the semifinals. Finally, in my pay auction league, I barely made the playoffs, going 7-6 and seeded six out of six. But I won the le in true Cinderella fashion and won $840 in the process:

70% for the league champ (me), 15% for the runner-up, and 15% for the regular season points leader. Seventy percent of $1200 is $840, since there were 12 teams and a $100 entry fee.
