Today's game was seriously a slam-dunk contest. Ariza had a few entries (and I think his alley-oop posterizing Grant is the winner), Drew had a few, Kobe ....

Amare and whoever plays in Kurt Thomas's absence are horrid post defenders. Every big guy is absolutely ripping them up this year.

There were no big surprises in today's Suns-Lakers game. The Lakers just went out and beat a team they were supposed to beat.

Just another day at the office. The Suns need to make a trade.

Yeah, I'm not gonna say it was a bad game for Bynum or anything, but Oberto went 11/11 against a Suns team that was stronger inside before the departure of Kurt Thomas. Goes to show why Phoenix never had a D to being with.

The Warriors aren't better than the Suns right now but at least the Warriors apply a pressing style defense. The Suns just run. They have no defensive iden y. The Warriors style, to me, is a more legitimate way to play uptempo.

It's interesting how the Suns have lost their glamour. Even Free Darko is dumping on them.

IMO the suns are still a better team and will win more games this season than the lakers...however, they will not beat the lakers if they meet in the playoffs again. Look, the Suns have 4 former allstars....christ the Lakers have 1......all top teams have more than 1 allstar on their team.

    Celtics 3
    Spurs 4 (Finley)
    Suns 4 (hill)
    Dallas 3 (stack)
    Utah 4 (damn...counting deron, okur, boozer, ak47)
    Nets 3
    Cavs 2
    Nuggets 3
    ...........I could go on....

The lakers still need to trade Odom for a 2 way PF....(Jermain Oneal, Pau) to start really contending.

I like Odom....but he will not put us over the top unless Bynums maturation becomes a legit 2nd option letting Odom slide to #3

this is not a complete list because my research wasn't totally thorough, but:

SEASON HIGHS against the Suns so far:

    Tim Duncan

    Jermaine O'neal

    Chris Bosh (career high)

    Al Jefferson (tied career high)

    Andrew Bynum (career high)

    Rasho Nesterovich

Big Men who had their second highest point total of the season against the Suns

    Dwight Howard (tied 2nd)

    Shaquille O'Neal (2nd)

    Chris Wilcox (2nd)

    Yao Ming (2nd)

Go ahead and dismiss the Suns. They should just give up and mail it in based on the first 28 games of the regular season.

Well, L.A. is getting better, definitely better than Dallas and Phoenix. If the Spurs met L.A. in the playoffs, we'd probably sweep them like we did in 1999.

We might win a game or two but the Spurs are the last team we want to meet in the playoffs. I think we are capable of beating any other team but I don't like the thought of playing the Hornets either.

suns never really had 4 superstars,

they were over rated to begin with anyway

all of theres players are too 1 dimensional, which will be there downfall, there system sucks anyway besides padding the stats, over value the stocks what its really worth.

every year in the summer, there is always news about the suns improving in the summer, non of which i have seen or shown
