I could understand that. Jax is hot and could possibly pull it off.
Now you lost me.
just remember I called it before anyone else.
and if Dallas isn't careful it will be NY Giants vs. Jax.

Seattle is the more realistic dark horse NFC team, btw.
Either Eric Allen or Qadry Ismail made that same prediction last week.
I'd be ok with that...I don't think it will happen but I would be ok with it.![]()
Jacksonville is definitely a team to be aware of. They play mistake-free football, they run as effectively as any team in the league with a fantastic 2 man rotation. They are hard-hitting, physical, and know that people are viewing them as underdogs, while they believe they can beat anyone and everyone. They could very easily find their way to that final game in Arizona this year.
I cant choose between Jacksonville's two headed monster or Indy's second year runner.....either way, thats whats needed to win in those cold winter months..
incontrovertible claims to have a genius-level IQ. He must be one of those autistic savants who lives in his own little world then.
Time for Witten..gotta watch Witten....Time for Witten.

Jacksonville will probably go to NE and beat them, but once NE realizes they are done, Rodney Roids will start cheapshotting people and end Fred Taylor's career by going for his knees.
goddam colts fans sure hate the great NEP
I'm sure the Pats history of playing dirty when they know they aren't winning a game had nothing to do with my last post.
hate or fear?
I seriously doubt the Jags reach the Superbowl. I like that team and wish them the best in the AFC playoffs, but Garrard just isn't a guy who's going to put up enough in the passing game to win in the playoffs when the intensity blows up. They've really done well recently against regular season opponents, but that all changes when the playoffs start.
So do most every other non-NE fan, including Cowboys fans.
Can you expound upon that a little bit more, especially the part about Garrard?
Garrard hardly has to put up anything with their defense and running game. Jags should do well, as long as they stick to thier game plan.
?
I think Garrard is a damn good QB, but wouldn't have the passing attack needed to take down the Pats or even Colts in their own stadiums unless his defense does what almost nobody has been able to do yet - shut them down. If their defense stays stout it gives them a chance because they can keep using Taylor and Jones-Drew to grind down the game in their favor. If their defense gives up some quick early scores then I don't think the passing game is adequate to recover and win. I would cheer for Jacksonville over anyone else currently in the AFC playoffs, but I think their passing game could be a weakness against the Colts or Patriots.
I agree. Tony Romo is Exhibit A of this.
Possibly. Until he wins a playoff game that's a very real possibility. Until that team wins a playoff game it's a very real possibility. Another week and we'll start to see how the chips fall this season.
