Playing teams that really suck helps.
there's always a silver lining if you look hard enough.
- Spurs still have a pretty good record.
- Pop's very cautious when it comes to players injuries & its very early in the season, enough time for injuries to heal.
- Manu gets to rest his legs
- Great chance for Ime, Bonner & Co. to get playing time and show their worth
- Keeps Spurs humble .. I was a bit concerned that they were peaking way too early and all the experts were singing their praises left and right

Wake this team up once the playoffs start.
The NBA having about 25 teams that really suck helps.
I'm with you on this one. I was beginning to think (back when we we're 17-3) that we were getting a "Dallas/Phoenix red hot streak and building lots of wins, only to poop out in the playoffs" vibe going.
Hopefully this will give everybody time to heal up, spread lots of playing time around for everyone, and get back into a groove come April.
Sorry, I haven't tuned in to spurstalk.com lately but I check nba.com more than daily and I have noticed Ginobili on the bench! whats messed up with him?
^^Looks like you're not even watching the games eather.
Bad left hand finger, probably a week of rest for him.
his bald spot is eating his brain
I can't watch games...I live in China.
People need to quit griping. Injuries build character.
