btw, be sure to write in Oberto for Center.

So at this point is TD a starter?
2 F = PF, SF (Tim and Melo are leading the polls, at 1 and 2)
2 G = PG, SG (T-Mac and Byrant are leading the polls at 1 and 2)
1 C (Yao)
Scola has more votes than Manu or TP. Somebody ban Scola Dynasty's IP address.![]()
Looks like Tim should be in good shape. He made significant progress on Dirk Nowitzki from the first round of votes, and I don't see Dirk doing much to sway people otherwise.
Does anyone think Amaré is going to be voted by coaches?
He is allowing opposing bigs to have a field day on every game. I doubt he is going to make considering how Chris Kaman and other centers are developing. Andrew Bynum's name is not in the list. Not sure if he would be eligible to be selected by coaches unless they have write-ins.
If the coaches bring Amare and Camby to Orlean there will be slim chances Tony or Manu will get into the squad

2008 Ballot Breakdown: West Forwards
By Ben Couch
Posted Dec 27 2007 3:09PM
Dec. 27, 2007 -- Balloting for NBA All-Star 2008 is under way and to keep you abreast of whom you might want to send to NOLA in February, NBA.com will break down all six positions -- East guards, forwards and centers, and West guards, forwards and centers -- over the coming weeks.
Today's Ballot Breakdown covers the Western Conference forwards, ranked statistically (by the sum total of their scoring, rebounding and assist averages). Carmelo Anthony was atop the voting leaderboard, just ahead of Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki after the second returns, but it's the fourth name on that list who's dominating the numbers game -- Carlos Boozer's combined PRA of 39.3 is well ahead of second-place Anthony (35.7).
But perhaps you think some other guys deserve the love as you vote daily. Read on and decide for yourself who deserves to make the trip to New Orleans for the 2008 All-Star Game on February 17. (Note: All statistics are through games played on December 26.)
Tim Duncan, San Antonio
Averages: 18.2 PPG, 9.8 RPG, 2.9 APG; Total PRA: 30.8
Breakdown: Playing the fewest minutes of his career (31.8), Duncan is maintaining averages right around his career numbers, and the Spurs are maintaining their winning ways. And after a late eligibility switch from center, Duncan has surged past Dirk to claim second place in the fan vote.
Looks like Brandon Roy(Portland) is a lock (who would have thought Portland will play like this). Steve Nash will be another.
I think Manu and Tony Parker will compete with these guys..Looks like it is a good problem to have for coaches. Everyone and their teams (except team Utah) are playing well.
Allen Iverson, Baron Davis, Chris Paul, Williams,
The chances for both of these to make AS game is very slim. Hoping at least one would make it.
Glad to see Timmy back in the top two for forwards. We all need to keep voting. Manu and Tony are way back and it looks like they will have to depend on coaches to select them.
How the heck is Jason Terry ahead of Parker?
oooops flying to vote for our 3 guys!
How the is Parker not higher?
Chris paul and Jason terry are not better than Tony parker.
what bull .
Vot Spursfans.
Completly agree about Terry, but are you really following Chris Paul this season?
wat bothers me is carmelo, wtf is he leading?
Paul has to jump up, so does Kaman, he deserves to be so much higher on that list for his work this season.
Tim Duncan (SA) 722,059

keep the streak alive!
where art thou, hakeem?
Uhhhh Chris Paul is better than Parker. But you're right, Terry isn't.
Chris Kaman is the ...last? I think not. 18 ppg, 14 rpg, and 3 bpg say otherwise!
That's called the power of having 1/4 of the population of the world (China) voting for you. It's the same reason Steve (Lousy) Franchise was voted an All Star despite the fact that he sucked.
Yeah, it's fricking criminal that Dampier and Okur have more votes than Kaman at this point. I'd put him behind Yao and Amare, personally.
All those votes for Dampier and Terry??![]()
Chris Paul needs to get in, he's been absolutely amazing this season so far.
I also agree about Carmela getting the leading vote? I can't stand carmela. He should be after Duncan and even Dirk.
