Atleast they looked like they could be beaten. I bet they lose in the playoffs

It's the Patriots fault that they built a team with the best QB and best WR and their accomplishments should really be diminished because of that. That's reasonable.

    By the way:

    -winning percentage of '72 Dolphins opponents = .357 (70-122-4)
    winning percentage of '07 Patriots opponents = .465 (112-129)

-playoff qualifiers beaten by '72 Dolphins in regular season = 0
playoff qualifiers beaten by '07 Patriots in regular season = 5 (may increase to 7)

-9 win teams defeated by '72 Dolphins in regular season = 0
10 win teams defeated by '07 Patriots in regular season = 5 (may increase to 6)

They have had the greatest regular season in history. You really can't argue that point. But their place in history will be determined in the playoffs.

lol. what irks me is all this talk about 16-0 not meaning anything if they don't win the superbowl. what? it means a lot no matter what happens in the playoffs, though it would mean more if they did finish it out....i think they will.

    incredible, incredible team.

Just to put Moss' record into perspective, he needed 16 games to catch 23 TD passes. Jerry Rice caught 22 in only 12 games.

in 1972, quarterbacks did not have radio receivers in their helmets. I think that only happened a couple of years ago.

I am sure that by having radio helmets that Brady got a call tonight about madison looking hurt......and then he went to the hurry up and went BACK to moss immeditately for the score.

shorter field for the other team too...don't see how that makes it easier to go undefeated

makes it easier to set records and go undeafeted.

I can't see them beating the Colts if they meet. The only way the Pats can get to you is by blitzing. Their Lb's are old not counting Thomas. Indy's defense is young and quick and can hit. It will suck that they won't have Freeney if the two should happen to meet.

  15. #15
they invite you to get in a scoring match that you will lose......the giants didn't even play bradshaw.....what was up?

See: '06-'07 Dallas Mavericks and *groan* '05 USC Trojans.
How'd things work out for those teams?
Yeah, I know the Mavs weren't undeafeated, but everyone pretty much figured they were a lock to bulldoze through the playoffs to the Finals.

Was he hurt and with what injury? Yeah looked like he was limping. What was the deal with that? I was blown away by that blown coverage, this would make sense.

Coughlin stopped blitzing ahead 28-16 while BelliCheat continued to blitz. Ballgame.

I can't see the Greasy Pats gifts from the other teams continuing.
Then again, they always keep it close so who knows. They're the SuperBowl favorites for sure.

Montana and Rice were on the same team too, I guess that's unfair for the other teams they play??????

    "Radio Helmets" Wow you're dumb.

No Free agency would favor the 72 dolphins you ing re .

This is the dumbest start to a thread I've ever read.
