Utah Jazz for sure.
Miami Heat (8-24)
Chicago Bulls (12-18)
New York Knicks (8-22)
Houston Rockets (15-17)
Utah Jazz (18-16)
Heat
I agree. Couldn't stand when earlier this season when alot of spurfans claimed they were a bigger threat to them than the Mavs were.
Rockets and Heat for the aforementioned reasons.
the Cavs because I like to see Larry Hughes get booed and if they suck it won't hurt so bad when Lebron leaves (I'm in full out Cleveland fan mode tonight)
I say the Bulls because a lot of people were saying that the Bulls or the Celtics would win the EC and the Pistons would lose early. It's still very possible, but it does not look that way so far.
The Pistons always have the talent. It's never too late for them to suddenly lose interest and give a playoff series away; something they've excelled at over the past few years. I'm personally enjoying the Celtics' start because it seems to have awoken the Pistons who are playing good ball. It'll be great seeing how the Celtics react as they get reeled in.
That's why I don't really care if the Celtics end up with the #1 seed. The Pistons just don't do well when everyone says they are the top team.
With all the preseason hype about the rockets and then all the rocket fans proclaiming they were going to come out of the west...it has to be the rockets. Maybe Scola will save them.
Utah has surprised me. I don't "hate" that team unless they play against us, but at the beginning of the season I really thought they would break into the elite this year, replacing the Mavs.
Miami's start is kinda funny too just b/c of how far they've fallen and also b/c of the small hope in me that with Miami stinking it up, they won't show as many annoying DWade commercials anymore.
It would probably be better for them not to have home court. Since ESPN is sure to continue sucking on the collective choads of the Celtics, that gives the Pistons plenty of chance to focus.
It is really nice to see Pat Riley suffer. The only reason I enjoyed the championship he didn't deserve is because it prevented Mark Cuban from getting one he didn't deserve.
I think that it's been 5 years since a number 1 seed in the EC has made the Finals. It has been the number 2 seed each of those times. I think that the WC also has had that happen as well. The Mavs and Suns have exploded early for the past few years, but could not manage to make the Finals. The year the Spurs had HCA they lost to the Mavs as well.
Houston Rockets, they have robbed the Spurs of some W's the past couple of years that they had no business winning. There are two types of teams in the NBA: Winners and losers, and it's great to see Houston be losers this season.
Knicks although I am very disappointed the Lakers have not imploded yet.
thats funny, they robbed the spurs of some Ws. Wow, and that kept them from winning a le last year![]()
well, obviously we were wrong. forgive us?![]()
