A True Spurs Fan !!!

Hi ,

I am basically new to the whole basketball scene but I know I LOVE the Spurs. I have been watching them for about 3 years now and have decided to be a dedicated fan. But here's the problem:

I have no idea of the history of the team, the players stats, or anything to that effect. I don't understand how the percentages work, or fantasy basketball.

So I am asking for some help or guidance to become a "true" fan. So if there is a website, book, anything that i can use it would be helpful.

There are a lot of very high IQ basketball fans here.
Read as many threads as you can, be sure to check the Classic threads too.
I'm an NBA fan for 25+ years and I still learn things here on SpursTalk all the time.
Don't be shy about asking. If you're not trolling people here will be very kind in helping you understand the game better.

NBA.com can be helpful for a lot of your questions. They have a history section, a fantasy section, and lots of places to learn about stats and percentages etc.

Spurs.com is Spurs specific, you'll find lots of what you're looking for there too.
