Quit it. You will make some people think this MIGHT be true.
Spurs - new nationally hidden story is that belatedly Tim D admited minutes down recently as he is fighting a cold. The truth is that he has slugged it out very effectively without headlines and sees a silver lining as his "legs are being saved" for later in the year.
Imagine if it was Kobe, Garnett, James or Shaq - "Superstar ___ (insert name) puts on uniform all week while fighting a death defying virus to defeat Suns, Blazers and Clippers in spectacular fashion". Willis Reed or Curt Shilling memories were inspired in all sports fans.

There was an actual story in AP that Duncan said he had a cold recently.

On the same note, while watching the Liberty Bowl on Friday, the Bottom Line came on (the crawl with scores, schedules, etc.).
When they showed the Spurs-Clippers schedule, they showed a stat stating that Duncan had been held to under 20 points in six of the previous seven games.
Seeing that would make somebody think that either the Spurs weren't performing well or that TD was being held in check.
Or looking at there record would indicate they are a damn good scary team.Seeing that would make somebody think that either the Spurs weren't performing well or that TD was being held in check.
JMO.
This guy isnt scoring 20 a game, and they are still blowin teams out??
Holy cow.
it did say somewhere that duncan had been fighting off a cold lately and he was tired more than anything. i think thats pretty much why he hasnt been scoring alot lately. but right now he really doesnt have to because parker and the bench is really stepping up. You can always count on him to score when they need it though. Also, he did play in the olympics this summer and that was tiring as well, so did ginobili. thats why they arent getting as many minutes. they are just being saved for the playoffs, etc. thats a good thing.
btw im new
