I actually think he has a valid point. Those may be crocodile tears, but he's right to say that it will be unfair for the media to criticize Romo -- to go after Romo's private life -- for this loss. Romo made plenty of mistakes today, but so did Andre Gurode and Flozell Adams and Leonard Davis and Patrick Crayton and Anthony Fasano and almost everyone who covered kicks for the Cowboys today and any number of other players. To heap disproportionate amounts of the criticism on Romo and to do it because he went to Mexico with his girlfriend is ridiculous ,IMO.

That was a good performance by Cuba Gooding, Jr. Did he hug Drew Rosenhaus after the interview?

This is the kind of country we live in today. Whether it's a presidential election or an NFL playoff game, most of what you read and hear in the media is garbage. Romo sucked because of the Giants front four, not a vacation. The fact that it got so much traction in the media says a lot. If he was diddling her in Dallas would it make a difference?

I just wish I had the same kind of perspective with the Mavericks that I do with the Cowboys. If the Cowboys win, great, if not, life goes on. I was a wreck after Golden State.

In Dallas, you must be in a very small minority.

Yeah, I've witnessed three superbowl wins, I wasn't around for Miami and Denver. I just don't get animated like I used to, I don't have the same passion for football that I do basketball. And I'd trade two of those super bowls, plus the two I wasn't alive for, in exchange for just one LOB trophy for the Mavericks.

I was rooting for the Cowboys today but I won't be in a foul mood tomorrow. As an aside, Brandon Jacobs, but at least that punk's season won't be lasting more than one more week.

"The tears, the emotion, the "we lost as a team" crap.......please. He threw both Garcia and McNabb under the bus and now we are to believe that he has changed? Me thinks that the tears were not because he lost. He's crying because Jerry Jones would cut him in a heartbeat if he said what he really wanted to say...and its eating him up. His whole career of saying "ME, ME, ME"...and now he defending "His Quarterback"....give me a ****ing break!!!"

Good night and GO PACK !!!

Very well said, the Cowboy's offensive line that didn't give Romo for time in the second half was horrible, and part of that blame goes on Garrett for not keeping with the run.
The run was keeping the Giants on their heels, and it was keeping the passing game open, even though Crayton was pulling a Az Hakim out there.

I still don't understand what the blame on Romo is for going to Mexico on an off week. What, is he supposed to study film on both the Giants AND the Redskins, and Sehawks!??!

Come on, the week starts on sunday night, when you know your opponent and you start getting ready.Romo wasn't great, nor was he bad though, there was ALOT of dropped passes that would've kept drives going and had them score more. Especially in the second half when they had to settle for that FG to go up 17-14 instead of 21-14. This game is the epitome of lossed opportunities.

He was faking. Knows jackass Jones is not happy with him and his usual bull crap. I don't believe Jones has the balls to get rid of him though. Not just yet anyway. Maybe after they choke again next year.

I, for one, have never blamed Romo for this loss. I have stated over and over it was a TEAM EFFORT. Regardless of who Romo screwed last week or didn't shouldn't make THAT big a difference in a win or loss. For gawd's sakes, most NFL players have "HOT" wives or girlfriends (Tom Brady for one) and those relationships have no effect on the player's game. The entire Cowboy Team sucked a big one today and it was NOT just Romo. T.O. didn't produce much himself.

If T.O. did anything worthwhile, why did the GIRLS get their asses kicked so badly. The only thing I saw out T.O. was his damn crying like a little girl with his stupid sunglasses on after the game.
