Could be...
But my expectations are on the RRT and SPAM for the turn-around.
The Turnaround Starts Today
Last year in Jan. is when it started, who's to say its not this year. After hearing the spurs talk about their display of basketball play on the floor lately, I hear the desire to get better real soon. We will all here the quote "We are turning the corner" real soon and often. When Tim Duncan says that infamous phrase he says every year, then we will know its a matter of time all cylinders are clicking. You'll see.
Who's with me?

maybe not today but it's a coming...." i back the men in black"!
But the turnaround starts now, and The Rodeo Road Trip I like to call it "The Sling Shot" Rodeo Road trip because of the momentum they gained before. Im not saying they are going to be great starting today, but their "Focus" and "Basketball IQ" and "Attention to Detail" will start today.
Nah it is still a few weeks away.
I'd rather the Spurs peak in the playoffs.
"Last year in Jan. is when it started"
How do you figure? By my tally, the Spurs' 13-12 span last season ran from 20 Dec until the first week of Feb.
Things started to turnaround for the spurs when the team played the pistons.
I refer to the 13-12 record that ran up 11 Feb, including 1-4 in their Last5.
Spurs then won @NJ and @Pistons, beginning a strong run.
We're mid-Jan. No way to say, other than wishfully, that beating the hopeless Sixers @ATT indicates anything.
LOL
Guess I didnt make clear-er.
They start their upside today, is that better or are we that closed minded and not confident about our Spurs. Geeez
Oh nevermind.
The Spurs can turn the corner whenever.
Your claim that last year the corner was in Jan is wrong. The Pistons game was in Feb.
I hope so. And not because i'm worried their is something wrong with the spurs, its because its just not entertaining to see them lose to teams they are more than capable of beating.
Wasnt last year when that infamous speech Pop has with the Spurs about him not going to demand any trades and that everyone need to be accountable for eachother in Jan?
Maybe I'm wrong, but thats when the upside started, they may have lost some games Yes youre right, but thats when they started paying attention to detail.
Again maybe I'm wrong and I do apologize in advance.
I think the no trades speech came closer to the trading deadline.
I'm not positive though.
It was after there horrendous game against the Knicks in NY. After that game, it was "on."
wow, Spurs played the Knicks twice IN NOV, a period when Spurs had the best record in NBA, and first team to 20 W on 20 Dec.

WOW

My mistake...it was the Nets. New Jersey / NY same difference.![]()
They were 1 and 4 in the previous 5 games and everyone was jumping off buildings...Pop's "were not trading for anyone" speech came about, and the NJ game is when the fire got lit.

It could have started today, but I guess we are still a ways away from seeing the "upswing". The RRT is under two weeks away. And I anticipate a more focused and disciplined Spurs Team.
After the RRT, bring on!!!!!!!!
