I say leave it at Saturday, screw ESPN.
ESPN wants OSU-A&M date change
Oklahoma State officials are considering an ESPN proposal that would result in a date switch for next season’s Texas A&M-OSU football game in Stillwater. Currently scheduled as the Big 12 opener on Saturday, Oct. 4, the game would be played on Thursday night, Oct. 2.
As of Monday night, athletic director Mike Holder said OSU had not decided whether to make the move. If the game is played on Oct. 2, it would follow by five days the Cowboys’ home meeting with Troy.
I say leave it at Saturday, screw ESPN.
We all know A&M's track record in Thursday night ESPN games...hopefully it stays on Saturday.
Bingo although OSU got rolled by Troy on some off night either a Thursday or Friday...
Big 12 Football does not belong on Thursday.
I like the idea of a Thursday game; just not a conf one and not a home one.
I agree, you don't give up a home game in conference to move to a weekday game, that's very conference USA of the BIg 12 if they do it.
