Where has that gotten them but bounced by an 8th seed, beaten 4 times in a row in the Finals after being up 3-0, and left emotionally scarred. Mavs fans have been dreaming the same big picture for years. But hey, I wish you AND them luck. It feels great celebrating championships.

Mavs were never up 3-0 in the Finals. You sound like a Laker fan circa 1997. The Spurs had their playoff heartbreaks. The Mavs remind me of where San Antonio was in the mid-nineties. They might never break through, but my fandom isn't contigent upon winning a le. I never understand why fans play the le card if nobody is calling them out. The Spurs have four les and yet one of the more insecure fanbases. I don't understand it.
