Bonner is a fine role player. He's not clutch however. No one should expect him to be more than an 8th man.

Elson, like Bonner, is a player that gets along with the team well. Elson just has a very low basketball IQ. That botched rebound was way worse than Bonner in the last play.

I think Bonner is fine if you use him properly, that is in the right situations to give the team either energy or 3pt shooting. Elson has been disappointing - if only he could get his head straight and play in the system, especially defensively, I think he could be valuable... but he's pretty much a garbage player. I haven't quite given up on Bonner playing a valuable role as the season progresses.
