If it's a bone spur, I'm not sure rest will help much (or at all).
During the Heat game last night they were talking about Parker's bone spur slowing him down and preventing his explosiveness, the Spurs NEED him to be at his best to have a chance
he's just playing 1/2 of his level last season, Pop needs to just shut him down until April
remember 2006 playoffs? Parker was hurt and ineffective
If it's a bone spur, I'm not sure rest will help much (or at all).
So does that mean Parker needs to have surgery? If so, would he be out for the playoffs?
Wow that sucks. Hopefully he is alright so the mavs can beat you healthy.![]()
Are we sure this isn't a BS injury?
Dirk had bone spurs last year. Happened in a game against Milwaukee a month before the regular season ended. He wasn't the same after that.
You guys are no fun.
I'm just making the jokes I'm supposed to make.
You made me laugh, but it was a fluke. No way I laugh if you wisecrack again. You just tried to make some zingers. No surprises there.
wasnt duncan the one who had the nagging injuries in 06?? you probably know better than me though. someone clarify??
Duncan had plantar fasciitus
bone spurs and he plays for the spurs
coincidence?

i said it before... he may just need some extra attention...
Eva should be massaging his feet at home.
Well if he is hurt right now. Then maybe he is just pacing himself and it appears to be that he is not playing well. I think by the playoffs if Tony is able to suit up. He will lay it all on the line.
are you being wise or serious?
boston is 6-4 in their last 10, barely beat the t-wolves last night (at home, iirc)
allas lost 2 of their last 5, barely squeaked by the lakers
suns lost 2 of their last 6 games and squeaked by the bucks twice
jazz are coming on strong, but they lost to denver last week
these things happen. it just seems worse when it's your team.
I'm so surprised by this thread, given Spurs Dynasty 21's long history of not giving up on the Spurs and not being a melodramatic little .
By no means am I an expert when it comes to bone spurs. However, I spoke to an individual who seems to know a great deal about the subject. They told me that bone spurs can simply heal on their own. It may take days, weeks, or even months till they go away though. Obviously, surgery is typically the last resort. TP may be healed seeing how the playoffs are months away. Not to mention he has access to world class medical aid.
The San Antonio Bone Spurs
At least they aren't the San Antonio Rectal Itch
That could really affect Parker's game.
Well, that's why we need a backup PG capable of 25 quality minutes.
Every team could use one of those.
