This is Kwame the Okapi. It is a relative of the giraffe. Its skin feels like velvet, and it has a super huge tongue. It can lick the top of the horns on its head.![]()
Amali - the baby giraffe at the Houston Zoo.

Rhino skin is really soft.

More people (by people, I mean women) would reply to this if I mentioned that the guy in the black shirt was my buddy Jason Priestley.
No, I'm guessing they still wouldn't care. :p
Dude, how'd you get so close to the animals? Kori is a huge animal fan but every zoo I take her to the "petting zoo" has been reduced to like sheep, dogs and chicken.

I went to A&M with a zookeeper. She will take me and a friend back. We fed the Giraffes while she cleaned up and worked on other stuff. I plan on doing this a whole lot.
I am getting a Canon 10D - I'll send you some good pics next time I go. Those were with Priest's point and shoot digital.
How is Jason doin 2pac.
Last I saw him, was at Kansas Speedway and the helicopter was taking him away.
Its too bad, I thought he was gonna be one of a race car driver.
One of a nice guy too, tell him theres some open wheel fans that wish
1. he was still doing color commentary
2. that he was still driving indy style cars.
Those are frickin' awesome pictures. I don't really care about Jason Priestly (he's always had an asshole rep -- haha) but those animals are great.
good animal pics. mouse will be waxing it for days to these....
and FINALLY, i can know the answer to the question i've held close to my heart for over a decade......shannon daugherty....did he do her? thanks in advance.
Can you see if he can hook me up with Kelly Kapowski
Those pics are awesome, you are lucky to be able to go back there and get that close to them, that pic with the baby giraffe is really cool.
