pretty cool
The All-Star stuff is starting to come out on NBA.com.
This is a short video in Duncan's own words.

I've got DSL but couldn't get it to work. How long to download.
Did you try getting to it from NBA.com's All Star page?

That was really nice. Tim is so articulate - I love it that he doesn't sound like some gangsta wannabe from the "hood". You can tell how intelligent he is every time he speaks. He's also very humble and appreciative of what basketball has done for him.
He's true to himself. That's one of the many reasons I admire him. He has never strayed from who he is. His character shows on and off the court.
In a perfect world our kids would look to him as a role model instead of the athletes whose police records are longer than their career.
Duncan is class personified.
Makes me a little sad when he says "I've only got a couple more years doing this", i was like NO "Timmy you can't leave us for a long long time", he is truly one of a kind.![]()
So true! I cried when David retired, and it will be a sad, sad day in San Antonio when Tim plays his last game as a Spur.It will be the end of a very, very special era in Spurs basketball. Let's hope it doesn't come too soon!
Very true, Timmy's retirement marks the end of an era in Basketball period as he is without a doubt one of the best of all time and most decorated.
It's always sad when one of the greats retires. There will never be another Michael Jordon, Magic, Kareem, Wilt, or David Robinson. Each player is unique in their talents, skills, and personalities. However, I think the difference is that Tim will undoubtedly be recognized as the greatest Power Forward to ever play the game.![]()
I don't even want to think of the day Tim retires.![]()
I vaguely remember the last game Rob played. I was young and just becoming a Spurs fans myself. Everyone seemed very sad on the broadcast, and I could not figure out why.
