I believe.
The Hornets are hot, Paul is incredible.
But Duncan has turned it on. And there's nobody better when he wants it.
This should be an awesome game. The Hornets have the best record in the Western Conference. They're an amazing 15-5 on the road and haven't lost on the road in five weeks. They've won seven straight games and have highest point differential in the West at +6.0. Chris Paul is playing out of his mind and is arguably playing better than anyone in the NBA.
Basically, the Spurs couldn't be playing a tougher team. The Hornets are on fire and will be a huge challenge. The Spurs are on a three game winning streak but haven't exactly played great compe ion. In the last game before the Rodeo Road Trip, we'll see if the Spurs truly have turned the corner or whether the last three games were a mirage.
Spurs got 'dis.

http://blog.nola.com/tpsports/2008/0...o_good_to.html"The three teams we measure ourselves against are still the three best teams in the West," Scott said of the Spurs, Suns and Mavericks. "The Spurs are still the best until somebody knocks them out of the playoffs."
But, all that noted and committed to memory, the Hornets currently aren't the best team in the Western Conference by accident, fluke or charity.
uh oh.

Tonight's game is on NBA TV if that helps anyone.
I know League Pass is doing a free preview through tomorrow, I don't know if NBA TV does that too. Could be worth flipping through your channels.
I haven't watched the Hornets much this year, complete games at least, but should be a great, close game..with a spurs win. That said, it will be interesting to see if there will be any breathing room as the 2nd half of the season starts and if the Hornets will continue playing at such a high level.
If Tony's still sick and his bone spur is hurting, could be trouble.
New Orleans is outscoring its opponents by an average of 19.7 points during its run, winning six of those games by at least 14. The Hornets have not won eight straight in a single season since Feb. 19-March 7, 2003 - the club's first in Louisiana.
We spanked the Hornets by 30 points when we last played them. The key is to make Chris Paul the scorer, go under the screens and force him to hit his jumpshots. You can let him go off for 20-30 points so long as nobody else gets involved.
last time tp was healthy
does anyone know what channels LP is on for TWC customers? i would appreciate
Who dat gon' beat 'dem Hornets?![]()

Finley is gonna go off tonight! Book it!
this game is gonna be great. i wish i had seen that free ticket thread last night.
Damn I didn't realize how good the Hornets had been playing lately. But I'm still taking the Spurs.
Time to STEP up Boys,
LETS GO SPURS!!!!
Watch how Tony comes out. I'm sure he wants to compete hard, but his health is suspect.
If the Hornets are even or are ahead after 1 qtr, it could be a long night.
It's going to be tough but I have to believe the Spurs will come out with fire.
Parker has always played well against Paul. Let's hope that continues.
Former Spurs Melvin Ely, now with the Hornets, was presented his 2007 NBA championship ring before the game

I'm happy to have Spurs call. It's always more fun with the home boys.
He also should have gotten a framed photograph of Mark Madsen crashing to the ground.

Nevermind, they've fixed it.
Woohoo It's on TV!
8-4. Damn. lol
Great job Oberto
2nd on Chandler
