Friggen Pop should have forced TP to have the surgery a month ago. We're nearing the POINT OF NO RETURN.

I think Spurs office is smart enough to sit Parker if he is really injured. I hope.

I blame it on Parker's "distractions". get your head straight Parker!!!!

If TP's heel isn't fixed by p-offs, Spurs will not have a chance at the repeat. So what is Pop thinking?

No one has even said that Parker's bone spurs are even bad enough for surgery. It's just a nagging injury has to work through.

I agree he might be hurting but he needs to be smart enought to know, not to push the ball and try to drive like usual. I mean, it's just mentally that he has to pass the ball more and rely on his team more.

HE IS STILL TRYING TO PLAY LIKE HE PLAYED LAST FINALS!!! It's 80% a mental thing then 20% a physical thing IMO

It's probably an 80% physical thing - his heel hurts and he obviously is still recovering from the flu. You can see in his face that he's super pale. But he needs to play smarter too.

yeah, play smarter. that's what I mean. Be smart enogh to change your game if you're hurting... Manu and Duncan have done this in the past, multiple times too.

He played great in the finals but he wasn't as good in the playoffs or in the regular season.
He averaged 19 points and shot 52% from the floor in the regular season. He was damn good.

This season he started out even hotter. He is playing like crap lately, but he's still averaging 20/6 and shooting 50% on the year.

I want to say that he is not going to score 25ppg with more than 50%.
Right now he is 19 points and 49%.Good enough to him.

He just needs to play through the pain, the flu, and anything else. I'm sure by playoffs his playing will get better as he turns it up a notch.

He's doing that because thats all he's got. He's a one-dementional player and when he can't get into the lane he can't contribute in any other way. He made a living in the paint in the Finals last year and got MVP but whenever we play a physical team that doesn't let him get in the paint like tonight he usually has a bad game.
