Bull !!! Stop the *** whining spurs fans. The most controversial decision of last year's playoffs clearely was in your favor. The refs have never had anything against you and never will.
Last year would have been to obvious that the refs had it out for the Spurs. But it seems that this year Joey has his goons out in full force! And for those non believers out there just remember that 25 officials were found guilty of fraud against the NBA. Gambling, taxes etc.. Those 25 including Joey are still employed. Crooked refs!

The NBA doesn't want the small market team that everyone seems to really hate now winning another championship. They're gonna make it as hard as possible.

The refs aren't doing anything. The Spurs problems are all internally related.
The Spurs' recent problems have nothing to do with officiating, except to the extent that the Spurs are hurting themselves by devoting so much energy every night to whining to officials about calls and non-calls. They're playing like they expected to be bailed out when they're playing soft (both mentally and physically) and that isn't going to happen -- nor should it.
If the Spurs would just play hard for 48 minutes every night, they'd take the officials out of the equation.
with almost 8 min left in the 3rd quarter (or the 4th -i don't remember really well-) the spurs were in the penalty

The Spurs are playing like a bunch of pussies. Blaming the officiating is lame.
They're too distracted with wondering when (and if) the senate will approve Bush's economic stimulus plan.
