Bird, McHale, and Parish were one of the best front courts this league has ever seen.
Garnett, Allen, and Pierce have yet to prove anything.
I'll compare them when they've got 3 les.
Which was the better trio?

Bird > Garnett
McHale > Pierce
Parish > Allen
Parish Mchale and Bird would own and castrate Garnett Allen and Pierce
hmmn, I think...Parish, Mchale, Bird vs Garnett, Allen, Pierce
Which was the better trio?
KG, Allen & Pierce wins as the league's OVER-rated trio.![]()
Actually, let me amend my post:
Bird > Garnett + Pierce + Allen
3 future hall of famers.
God knows how many rings.
Arguably "the best front court ever".
This is a tough one. I'll get back to you.
I saw Larry Bird play in the Boston Garden in his rookie season.
He's the reason I'm an NBA fan.
Rick Carlisle > KG+ Pierce + Allen
WTF???????? Is this a real question dumbass?
are we in in Boston, dumb ass wrong category
Three of the Top 50 players of all time: Bird, Parrish; McHale
vs.
One great player, Garnett and a couple of good ones.
Let's move on. Next question.
I'll take Bird's three les and three MVP's over K.G's one MVP and a collective bunch of NOTHING between Allen and Peirce.
1 on 1 I'll take KG over Bird.
100% Healthy there is no way KG could keep Larry Legend from knocking down long balls. KG isn't strong enough to back Bird down on a constant basis either. Larry's strength is overlooked tremendously.
