The one where Manning was about to be sacked, somehow recovered and threw a great pass for a great catch ?

If that's the one, yes !!

    Amazing stuff

If that play was a cover song, it's probably the first cover song that was better than the original.

It's almost like somebody took the vid of The Catch, Part 1 and added some more degree of difficulty to it.

I think you are going a little over the top there. I think Romo had the greatest escape when the ball was snapped over his head and he ran 60 yards to get the first.

Also, the throw wasn't all that, but the catch was.

No way Romo's play is in the same class as Manning to Tyree.

    None.

Only because it was in The Big game. But what Romo did on the snap over his head was the play of the year for pulling something out of your ass IMO.

I said greatest espace , THROW , and in the biggest NFL game of the season. DESPERATION THROW but it was still a THROW. The are you bringing up Tony of all choke artists in the discussion? He threw an INT to webster and that's all that counted when it mattered

Marion Barber's Endzone Escape was pretty sick too.

One of the greatest plays in SB history against arguably the best team ever up to that point trumps a play against one of the worst teams in the NFL, IMO.

It wasn't a game winning touchdown catch, so no. Top five play though.

Montana to Taylor for the game winning TD is #1.

Think I would also put the tackle of Dyson in 2000 (?) at the one yard line at the end of the game ahead of it.

Definitely one of the most ridiculous plays though.

You mean Montana-to-Taylor against the Bengals? That was a nice play and was a TD but not nearly as spectacular.

That has to be one of the greatest drives in Super Bowl history.

Eli escaping the sack and Tyree making that catch should be immortalized.

I'm a die-hard Cowboys fan, but even I have to give props to the Giants for making this one of the greatest Super Bowl games ever.
