Wow what a shakeup. It's a relief that they are sticking to their fair/balanced format.
Ex-Bush aide Rove to join Fox News Channel
I didn't think so...........![]()
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Karl Rove, the strategist behind President George W. Bush's ascendancy to the White House, will join Rupert Murdoch's Fox News Channel as a contributor starting with Super Tuesday, the network said.
Rove was chief strategist for Bush's 2000 presidential campaign and joined him in the White House in several capacities, including deputy chief of staff. He left the White House in August.
Rove has been contributing opinion pieces to The Wall Street Journal, which also belongs to Murdoch's NewsCorp, and will debut on the television network with live coverage on Tuesday of the biggest day of the presidential primary election season, Fox said on Monday.
Fox News Channel was the top-rated U.S. cable news network in 2007 in terms of viewership, ahead of rival CNN, according to Broadcasting & Cable magazine.
Wow what a shakeup. It's a relief that they are sticking to their fair/balanced format.
What's your point?
James Carville,
George Stephanopoulis
Ex-presidential insiders get gigs in news corps.
^^Thinking the same thing. No biggie.
Where he ended up. It's more like an interdepartmental transfer.
I'm surprised it took this long.
Yeah that damn Fox News. Those cotton pickers just keep
holding a gun to those viewers and forcing them to watch.
They'll get their's one of these days. You just wait and see.
Fine.
Therefore
ABC = CNN = Democrat shills
Got it.
That used to be the perception but they both are actually trying to out-Fox Fox Noise themselves these days.
I watch all the news networks so that I can form a fair and balanced opinion on my own. They report...I DECIDE.
I can tell.

I think Fox News is superior as far the Cable Network News networks go. CNN is just kind of bores me. So its no surprise that Fox News was the number one rated cable news program.
well fox caters to the kool aid drinkers and karl allows the viewers to think for themselves even less now..
I like FoxNews for the babes but you can't seriously watch their news shows and not see they lean far to the right. If you every watch Fox&Friends in the am they mostly bash Clinton and Obama.
I watch Morning Joe on MSNBC. Joe Scarborough is my favorite political commentator because he calls it as he sees it. He's a conservative republican but criticizes republicans and democrats alike.
The republican party doesn't own him, the democratic party doesn't own him.
I never said they didn't lean to the right. I agree they do, just as MSNBC leans to the left. But a consistant Fox News watcher like myself, who has no party affliation, does see equal criticisms on both sides in their programming. My favorite show is Hannity and Colmes. Its gives a conservative and liberal angle to stories.
Non-politically speaking, I just like their programming better. At least we can agree on the babes however![]()
MSNBC has Olberman that leans left. After that you have,
Tucker: A real Abbie Hoffman type bomb thrower.
Chris Matthews: Who once worked for Tip O'Neill so he is automatically pegged as a liberal. Meanwhile, he has some serious man-love for John McCain as well as out and out hate for the Clintons. His brother ran for Lt. Governor or Pennsylvania as a GOPer. He laps up Coulter, etc.... He's no lefty.
Dan Abrams: Is anybody watching? I never make it through the show.
I wish they would go left and hire Rachel Maddow for her own show. Throw Tucker from the train!
I concur. Keith doesn't hide the fact that he lean to the left. Dan Abrams is pretty fair and I used to think Chris Mathews was to the left but I actually think he is pretty moderate. I like Tim Russert on Meet the Press.
Tucker is okay but I don't like his hair. At least he got rid of the bow tie.
Hannity & Colmes is a good show but they really need to replace Colmes with someone who can do a better job against Sean.
