don't forget the superdelegates, there nearly 600 of them, I think. it's how the party establishment disenfranchises the electorate.

ABC News just reported it as
Obama 197
Hillary 190
That's just today's totals and doesn't include Connecticut which was just called.
Looks like Huckabee has picked up 227 tonight.
Keep kickin ass Barack.
nothings going to be decided tonight on the Demo side....
according to CNN Live, Hillary has 299 delegates..
...but Berman has a lot of cred....

Just saw this on Yahoo...Thought I would share. If it has been posted already, I apologize. I don't come in this forum at all till now.

Thanks RashoFan....always looking for more politics input from the ladies of ST
I really need to keep in touch with the 2008 Race 4 Prez. As I get older, these people appointed to be in charge have more infulence in the quality of what my future holds.
My input...OH NO TO HILLARY!!! BILL ING UP OUR COUNTRY AGAIN VIA THE MISSUS???![]()
I am actually bored enough that I am putting Obama or on the state that they have won...![]()
MSNBC: Delegate Count
Clinton: 837
Obama: 841
Amen.My input...OH NO TO HILLARY!!! BILL ING UP OUR COUNTRY AGAIN VIA THE MISSUS???
AP Delegate Count:
Democratic
Hillary Clinton 845
Barack Obama 765
Republican
John McCain 613
Mitt Romney 269
Mike Huckabee 190
Democratic race here on out probably favors Obama slightly, but not enough to clinch the nomination. The delegate count will be very close, and the superdelegates probably will decide it for Hillary.
The GOP race is over; McCain is the nominee.
how did bill up our country?
I remember the Clinton years to be okay. I wasn't hurting and to be honest I'm not really hurting now. But the high price of gas and groceries is of concern. Sure I'd like to bring home more take home pay but I also know that in today's world taxes are not going to go away.
I understand that alot of people will say so and so ed up our country, so it is not limited to Bush, Clinton, Bush,Reagan,Nixon, etc...
IMO, Clinton downsizing the Military while he was in office is something I did not support! I think it had an effect(small or great) on how well we are able to protect ourselves on our soil. Back then, He was my Command In Chief BUT he was not my president.
I understand Bill had an opprotunity to get Bin Laden(secure or terminate...whichever I am not sure). Bin Laden's actions and terrorist plans have killed many, inculding SAILORS, which I was back in Desert Storm Era. Which does piss me off. I would personally like to take out Bin Laden myself.
I normally don't venture into the polictical forum and I admit I am ruled by my emotions. I am not by all means a political watching/analyzing person, but I am trying to expand my limited knowledge.
I fear not even a republican congress and .com boom will save us.
ALL I ask is for our health care to not decline in quality. My dad was recently hospitalized and almost died and I am very thankful the doctors/surgeons/nursers were at the top of their game.
