All of the national games are broadcast in HD on either ESPN or TNT, and locally, there are a sprinkle of games on KENSHD or FSSWHD. The good thing about being a Spurs fan is that the playoffs are always national and always HD.![]()
I realize the majority of the population does not have HD tv's but it is the near future of broadcasting and I find it sad that the defending champions have so few games televised in High Definition. It irks me to no end to see an actual MavsHD channel on DishNetwork.
I know high definition will never be a high priority for Spurs ownership nor could they afford it if they wanted to. It may not be so bad if the actual standard definition broadcasts on foxsports and my35 didn't look like utter crap.
I slowly find myself not caring when i miss games broadcast in standard definition because they look so horrendous.

it still sucks to get used to watching HD and then have your favorite televised event look like . the thing that gets to me is the sound. its just terrible.
If you're local, FSSW has admitted that their sound is sucking tonight...more than usual, that is. They've got a short in their soundboard, or something. They switched to what sounded almost like a radio feed for a while.
We need a billionaire owner who owns a couple HD CHANNELS and gives a damn about the fans.
It's all good though. Playoff games are natl. HD.
Yeah i just got a 42 inch plasma, my first HD set and when you get used to the HD games, then watch them without it, it really sucks.
FSN is about the worst quality picture ive ever seen.
The local channel up here in D.C. had it on HD. At least you guys aren't stuck watching Spurs games on a Laptop most of the time. 2009 Baby and I'll be back in Tx.
