I've taken over project management for our operations in Ingleside (Down here during the week and back home on the weekends) and 'OAI drops in strength in the evening and I can't get the Spurs on radio.

I looked on 'OAI's site and the NBA/Spurs site and can't find all the affiliates for the Spurs network.

Anyone know if there's a local station that carries them?

According to the Media Guide, the following stations are part of the Spurs Basketball Network:

WOAI (1200 AM - San Antonio)
    KWNX (1260 AM - Austin)
KKTX (1360 AM - Corpus Christi)
KTJK (1230 AM - Del Rio)
    KVOU (1400 AM - Uvalde)
    KAMG (1340 AM - Victoria)

not sure if it is an option for you or not but sirius satelite radio carries all the games. The only problem is you get the Local broadcast i.e .. if the spurs are in Dallas you get the Dallas Broadcast.

    1360 In CC.

It's also the way that Clear Channel has the tower pointing.
It can hit freaking Minnesota at night, but can't freaking hit South Texas during Spurs games.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Yea, they need to adjust that antenna. In the early morning I lose 760 when I hit La Vernia.

Speaking of Clear Channel...what's up with them owning every fricking billboard out there. I swear, every billboard in El Paso had a CC sign on it.

Thanks to "free market" media deregulation, CC has become a very dominant player in media, and in some locales, regions, a de facto monoopoly. If the Repugs have their way in destroying the US govt, then you'll see more industry concentration, more cartelization, more overly dominant players, more de facto monopolists, across more industries, and guess who $$wins and who gets $$raped?
