Duncan 2 FTA. Game over right there.
I think we can shelve the talk that the Celts are just some puffed up EC team...
That defense is for real...and with Allen, Pierce and Garnett...their O is always going to be tough.
They're definitely a serious contender for the le this season.
Duncan 2 FTA. Game over right there.
we'll see what happens in SA. I mean, those guys looked like Cameron Indoor refs out there.

Yeah, most of us knew that the Celtics were legit.
We didn't have Parker, but they didn't have Garnett.
What concerns me is that the Celtics wanted it more today.
They played with more vigor.
Our PG situation is killing us still, because Vaughn sucks and Stoudamire is still adjusting.
Whott stop sippin the koollaid brah!
Celtics shot 21 more FT than the Spurs. Anyone saying that the outcome of this game is not grounds for ing at the officials is probably drunk or high.
Sorry, Duncan with 4 FTA. My bad. Same ing difference, though.
Yes, and instead of taking the fight to the Celts, the Spurs looked to the refs to bail them out, which pretty much never works out.
Don't about the officiating, Celts wanted it more. That combined with Pop's fetish for small ball did us in.
This shows the importance of Tony Parker. The D is right there where it should be going into the break, but without Parker's ability to create points for himself and others the offense is horrible. A productive and healthy Parker added to this team makes them so much better.
The Celtics are indeed a legit team and it will be a fun battle to watch between them and the Pistons.
First, this game was more than the numbers really indecates. Second, it was a home game for the Celts. Come Playoff time, this game wont matter. We should be 100% healthwise, and Tony will tear the lane to score up the middle which was badly needed in this game. The Celts had their heads straight and we able to make the threes and the jumpers, but once we get our inside game going and score at will, they will die by the threes and long jumpers. Damon was not effective in the lane, this part of game play is very crucial because it used to be San antonio's bread and butter.
I dont give a dam what anyone says, We need help an we need it now! Ive been a do or die fan 4ever. Im watching us go down the drain, an I dont like it. Our front office to stupid to make a trade and Pop is down talking one of the coaches we can trade with! If we dont do something im just going to think we are happy with a ring every so often. Im glad we lost, maybe ole dumbass Pop will push for someone. I cant believe he cameout an down talked the Griz. for what their trying to do! If they want to start over thats what you should do if what your doing is not working, well thats what I thought. I pretty pissed knowing we are not going to trade for anyone, because we're to stuck on ourselves. Why in the hel do we have all those big bodies on our bench if we're going to try an play "small ball"!![]()
I'll tell you this much...the person missing Tony Parker the most in Manu Ginobili. He's turning the ball over more, his shooting % has been down, and his energy definitely isn't at the same level. For all of Pop's insistence that they rest Parker to get him healthy...it's having the opposite affect on Ginobili. He's getting tired more with the defenses concentrating on him and the pressure to run the point and score and do the hussle plays is asking too much from him.
Oh and Vaughn SUCKS!!!!! He overdribbles the ball EVERY SINGLE TIME down the court. It is one of the most annoying things I have ever seen.
Yeah if we got a real coach we might win a ring once in a while.aybe ole dumbass Pop will push for someone
Oh give it a in rest.
With everything going against us today, including the bounces, if Finley's three goes down, we win.
Celtics play the way the Spurs used to.
Wow, great response!
What game did you watch? The Spurs weren't allowed to play as physical as the Celtics.
Spurs offense was struggling even before Tony sat out.
We need someone who can freakin' rebound the damn ball!!!!1![]()
Yea, I'm not too upset with the loss, Celtics were more aggressive from the start and the Spurs were still in the game at the end. Plus, we all know how Duncan and the SPurs hate these Sunday afternoon ABC games...I usually pencil those in as losses from the start.
I am more upset with Pop's somewhat puzzling lineups.
Eh, the playoffs will be a different story.
Yea, but Parker running the offense takes a huge burden off Ginobili also gives opposing teams another player to concentrate on and Parker almost every game gives the Spurs at least 6-7 "easy" fast break points. With Parker out, the Spurs fastbreak looks almost nonexistent.
yup, Oberto will suddenly be good, Elson will magically not be , Horry will suddenly be good, Vaughn will miraculously not suck..........
Spurs are a 3 man team when healthy, and a now down to a 2 man game
