It's like 5:1 ratio of shooting three's and then giving it TD.
There is no way that the Spurs will shoot lights out from three's every game. Live by the three/die by the three cannot be a better statement. Do people honestly think the Spurs are gonna go deep into the PO's chucking threes. I know it will be a different story when TP comes back, but sheesh.

Its hard to get more points in the pain when the guy who does a lot of that isn't on the team. Of course the Spurs are going to look more outside oriented without the best guard at getting points in the paint.
The plan is feed the big man. TP attacks the basket and if nothing is available kick it out to the paremeter shooters. Manu knows how to attack and can shoot. However, all that comes after you play great Defense.
I agree with Manny, if Tony were playing SA would have killed Boston in Points in the Paint and would have won the game, but the Spurs have shot 115 threes in the last 5 games, and we've seen outing such as 1-6 and 2-7 from that range. Sure we've gone 4-3 shooting those threes, but the wins were against Wash (w/o Butler, NY ugh, Indiana and a Suns game we should have lost). I just can't wait for Tony to come back. With him creating easy points inside the paint, which clears the lane for TD points will come much easier.
Hope Tony makes a fast and full recovery, as Pop said it today, our offensive was stagnant as , we were down 4 points and couldn't make a shot in 2 minutes to cut it down to 2, because all we would do is shoot threes and w/ Duncan with the only inside presensce it was easy for Boston to double team and recover to guard the three. Also imagine w/ KG.

Too many J's and not enough drives to the basket. Having said that we had a lot of open looks today. A couple went in and then out. The shots just didn't fall for us today.

Spurs took 31 3Gs today, like Phoenix years back, making only 11, 35.5%. They mostly lose if they can't hit 40%. Today they lost.
Spurs have really come down to 3Gs or bust.
