The Rockets just have too many good players to be as bad as they were.
Rockets are now 23-5 since December 28th and 9-1 over their last ten games. Rockets are streaking and is putting up incredible stats once Scola and Landry were inserted into the lineup and Mike James benched. The guys have figured out the Adleman read and react offense and are still rated number 4 in overall team defense. No falloff there from the Van Gundy years.

These next ten games are critical in the SW Division. Of all the Texas Teams, the Mavs have the worst of it. I expect them to bottom out after this next 10 game stretch and San Antonio to have passed them up in the standings. The schedule actually favors the Spurs and the Rockets over this time period. The Hornets and the Mavs are going to get owned!

What is mike james contract situation like? I think the warriors would have some interest in a guy who can get real hot fro the outside.
The Rockets want to get rid of Mike James like really bad cause he doesn't really fit. He's signed for the MLE around 5.4 Mil.
Not just the Rockets playing well but the Spurs schedule looks so good right now, that I think that at the end of this period, the Spurs will have passed up both the Hornets and the Mavs.

Interesting upcoming schedule. The Mavs do appear to have a tough stretch coming up.
The Atlanta Hawks really need to learn how to close out games.
