I do too.

Was watching WOAI tonight, and they had a bit about DRob and his kids practicing for the allstar thing...
Could you imagine how many les we would have had with DRob, Tim, Tony, Manu, and Bowen...
good lord...
I really miss him.
me and you both brother.
You should change your signature to the pass Manu gave Tim on the Celtics game. It basically did the same thing as the machine![]()
Its because they practiced it like that. as you see here.
when he retired, man. what can you say, the world was a better place when he was on the floor.
Yeah D Rob is missed. you could say had he never hurt his back he might still be playing, but its doubtfull.
Trust me, David Robinson is prob happier now than he was playing.
Do alot things he enjoys, spending alot of time with his kids and involved with their education. Wich its a shame hes not teaching, the guy is so freakishly einstein level intelligent.
David is gone, and honestly, as someone that idolized him growning up, I've moved on.
Enjoy the now!![]()
Well, if DRob wasn't so old and took better care of himself, maybe he'd be able to sit on the Raptors' bench.

It's five years and I sure do miss him too.
Watching Shaq's skills decline and how he's gallantly and selfishly trying to hang around just to collect a check makes me appreciate D-Rob all the more.
Also, Duncan hasn't been able to find another high "lob-n-go" partner

The image of Dave after they won in 2003... I've never been happier about something that didn't directly involve me, in my life.
Dave will always be my favourite Spur of all time, no question.
Can you imagine how much harder it would be if we didn't have Duncan to enjoy?
Oh lord i know...i remember a few years after Robinson came to us, i remember thinking how des ute i would feel when he left...Duncan stepping in really helped that transition, but i was still sad.
I just cant help but wonder how many MORE rings this team would have had with a healthy duncan and dave running the court for the past 5 years.
How could they be stopped...would he be looking at a complete domination? 5 or 6 les in a row?
David Robinson is an elite advance minded human being. He is the player i still admire the most. My role model someone i would consider the greatest father that a kid would have. He is not only the reason why i became a Spurs fan, but my inspiration to confront adversity with class. I also posted in a previous thread when we were losing more often and were more shaky that maybe a couple of workouts with him would inspire the squad. He will forever be my favorite Spur, worldwide citizen and example.
David Robinson is the reason I became a Spurs fan when I was 6 year old, despite never living in San Antonio.
to the Admiral
But...he was soft!

Looked for that on the WOAI website with no luck, anybody have it downloaded?
Man the night the Spurs won the le in 2003 and Dave went out as a champion... watching him jump up and down as the clock ticked away was just an amazing joyful sight for me. I'll never forget that.![]()
My screen name and avatar are all about five-oh.
David Robinson was the reason I became a Spurs fan. He is a God among men. The passion he had for the game and the enthusiasm the fans had for him we're unmatched by any other NBA team back then, at least it seemed that way to me, watching on television so many years ago.
That's a great post.
i do too so much..i felt so happy to meet the player who gave me love for the basketball and san antonio spurs!!

Fantastic photo.
What a great guy D-Rob is? Personable, pleasant, and always in a good mood.
A giant among men.
he is so nice, i mean, he chek my hand before he said me i can sit to take a picture with him, very class
lets build a time machine!!
He could probably help the team more than Elson right now![]()
