That would be a solid trade no question.
Only problem seems to stem from his struggles to stay healthy.
Also, is he strong enough to guard a Shaq in the paint?

Solid rebounding big. Indiana seems ready to blow it up and start over. He has one year left this one so it would allow the Pacers to reduce their payroll a little this summer. Depending on how much the Pacers want that, the Spurs might not have to include a pick. The Spurs could use some better rebounding bigs.

I think it's been brought up.
Either way, it's a decent trade. However, I'd rather see Franny go than Barry.
If it's Elson, then it'd likely have to be Elson + Bonner.
Is he faster than Rasho?
OK. Someone hypnotize Bird and get it done.
Agreed, and doubtfull the Spurs send Bonner in any trades.
If he were a couple years younger, I'd say pull the trigger, but I'm really not sure this would be the most beneficial trade. Yeah, even if this is Barry's last year.
Foster > Elson....do the suggested deal.
Then trade Elson to a team for a swingman to fill the bench/Barry role.
Foster is great big-man insurance for next year in case Splitter or Mahinmi don't pan out as soon as hoped.
I'd really prefer to get a shot blocker if we're going to trade for a big.
I'd rather see them somehow wrestle ike diogu away from the pacers... wishful thinking, i know... Oh and while we are on the topic of wishful thinking... I'd love to see them make a serious attempt to grab biedrins from the warriors...
He'd help rebound, that's for sure. Give Oberto a legit back-up, since Bonner and Elson suck.
