The Heat would be looking for some talent in return. If the Spurs are to target anyone on the Heat, Haslem makes the most sense, but that would be kinda hard to pull off, unless they are really ready to move him and will accept cap relief.

Barry for Davis works straight up. I don't think he would get much run with the Spurs the rest of the way. Frankly Barry would be of more value to the Spurs for the remainder of this season.
You could hope that he finds a nice sign and trade deal for you in the summer. Still, why do the Heat trade him away for the expiring contract of an aging vet?
Ricky Davis can play the 4? At 6'7" and 205? A guy whose best rebounding season was 4.9? Maybe that explains why Miami is so bad this season!!

Trade for a player with short-term contract that can contribute to the playoffs if you can now, because the front office has not been able to bring in young, quality talent via free agency.
Regardless of whether that player fills a real on-court need or not.

If the Spurs needed an athletic scorer at the 3 as a primary need, I would hope they'd look places other than Ricky Davis.

Ricky Davis would not contribute more to the Spurs in the upcoming postseason than 57 year old Brent Barry. Then he's a free agent and either you have to sign him or most likely he walks without even finding you a decent sign and trade deal.

Why do they need that? They have athletic scorers on the perimeter at the 1 and 2. What they do need is a perimeter defender that allows them to defend their opponent's top perimeter scorer 1 on 1.
