I love how your threads are always context-free.
Well, the thread's lack of context allows the to reader play a role in determining what the thread is about. It's just a little post-modernism for this board. It bothers you because you are so rigid in your comprehension and you need information spoon-fed to you.
Content free as well.
Message board rice cakes.
I dont' know whats worse, the OP or the Chalupa follow up.

Latino leaders need to pull their heads out and stop alloying their people to vote for a . blacks> es

SurveyUSADepending on Hispanic Turnout, Clinton is Either Slightly Ahead, or Not so Slightly Ahead, in Texas Democratic Primary: In a Democratic Primary in Texas today, 02/18/08, 15 days to the vote, Hillary Clinton leads Barack Obama 50% to 45%, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for KTRK-TV Houston, KTVT-TV Dallas, and KRLD-AM radio Dallas. BUT: there is "give" in these numbers that must be mentioned in the same breath. Among Hispanic voters, Clinton leads 2:1. SurveyUSA estimates that Hispanics make-up 32% of Democratic primary voters in a Primary today. If Hispanics vote in larger numbers, Clinton's lead is larger than the 5 points shown here. If Hispanics vote in smaller numbers, Obama runs stronger than these numbers show.
obama is pulling almost even in texas
Dems will have illegals voting in no time.
They already do in states like mine. In Oregon, they get registered to vote when they get their drivers license!
Wonder if Billary wants to kick Billary's butt for getting

Figured this thread is as ed as any, so I'll interject with a question...
Is Spanish like French in that the dialects spoken can almost be different languages?
For example...Smeagol resides in Argentina, most Spanish speaking peeps in America come from Mexico....any difference?
I don't know about different language but I agree on different dialects. The Spanish you hear in CA is not quite the same as in TX or OH or other parts of the country of the world. I've spoken spanish in OH, TX, CA, HI, MI, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Africa and other parts of the world and it isn't always spoken the same but I wouldn't necessarily call it a different language.
Yeah, they were speaking spanish but in a dialect that was foreign to me. But we could understand each other enough. Then again there were times when I got the "what the are you talkin' about" look.
Maybe that dialect was Portuguese? I visited Macau a few years back and they spoke a Chinese-Portuguese dialect. My Spanish did not help at all!![]()
if you are hispanic your origin is spain. if you latino is your orgin based in italy?....ergo, are italians latino?
Who was this thread directed at?
Spanish is Spanish, wether you speak it in CA, Mexico, Spain or Chile, Guatemala, Peru, PR or Venezuela. It is always Spanish.
It's like English spoken in England, Australia, India or America. Different accents, same language.
Italian, the language, has Latin origin. So does Spanish, Portuguese and French.
