Pretty cool to be able to hit a satellite from a destroyer.

He exist, therefore it is his fault. But had Obama been
in office he would have just ordered it to fall and it would
have done so. The messiah will not be defied.

    Was there ever any doubt?

Personally, I think they launched a dud satellite, two years ago, in preparation for this moment.

    Nice execution. Take that China!

I don't believe they bothered to notify us when they shot one down last year.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- China last week <Jan 2007> successfully used a missile to destroy an orbiting satellite, U.S. government officials told CNN on Thursday, in a test that could undermine relations with the West and pose a threat to satellites important to the U.S. military.

According to a spokesman for the National Security Council, the ground-based, medium-range ballistic missile knocked an old Chinese weather satellite from its orbit about 537 miles above Earth. The missile carried a "kill vehicle" and destroyed the satellite by ramming it.

Britain has complained about lack of consultation before the test and potential damage from the debris it left behind, The Associated Press reported.

Of course indicates nothing about the capability of the Missile Defense Agency to shoot down real missiles, above all to shoot down multiple simultaneous missiles in a real Chinese or Russian attack, but keep amusing yourself, boys. It was only $60M wasted of $500B. $60M could have been used to support needy vets.

The US was surprised when China showed the capability to shoot down a satellite. Was China surprised at US capability? of course not
