    However its highly unlikely

    I don't see how having Scola could have made a difference in trying to acquire Artest except to the extent that having Scola might have allowed the Spurs to include him in a deal for Artest.

    But that presumes that the Spurs were actually interested in Artest.

    forget it. the current lineup is pretty good. the thomas trade is guaranteed not to make any trouble in the locker room unlike a would-be artest acquisition.

    If the SPURS got Artest...they wouldn't be the Spurs.

    Artest. I'd rather lose without him, than win with him. I'm pretty sure most of Spurs FO and fans agree. I simply can't comprehend real Spurs fans wanting this guy.

    Let it go fer chrissakes. We got our team...and I, for one, like it a lot.
