I just recovered from my other ankle... now this happens. Two ankle ups in 3 months...

Ouch! Feel better.
How did you hurt yourself?
He was probably looking at porn and he twisted his ankle when he tried to turn of his computer so he wouldn't get caught.![]()

@ your sheets!
Your ankle doesn't look so bad, but your foot looks really swollen.
How'd it happen? Did you slip off your little red skis?![]()
It happened Monday Night...
I was hooping (I'm really into PLAYING basketball), I even had quality ankle braces on. It was a fastbreak and I was the only one back defending and I blocked the dudes shot but came down on his foot and it rolled really badly.
I'm on crutches still, and I got some youtube vids of me falling in public on them to see people's reactions... it's hilarious. I'll upload once I'm done.
I lock my door buddy. Plus, my family hasn't seen my penis unlike someone else!
My sheets are hot don't hate.
That's from rolling your ankle in basketball? Why is it so far up your leg?
I was going to guess you fell off your skateboard.
Norcal isn't black and gangsta? He's a short fat White or Hispanic dude? lol
It's a high ankle sprain cause I did the same thing to my other ankle in Dec. but this one looks a little more severe. It's a high ankle sprain but it takes longer and it's more severe than a regular sprain. At least that's what my doc says... but I haven't gotten my x-ray report yet for this ankle... I'm hoping it's just a high ankle sprain.
It's very weird for the bruising to be that high for an ankle sprain. Hopefully you don't have ligament damage. Good luck.
Tread Mill is your friend.
What, is he supposed to hop it on one foot![]()
I remember I tore ligs in my left ankle a week into my summer vacation in 2001 going into my senior year. The doctor told me it would need a cast to heal properly and be would need to stay on for most of my summer vacation so I told them that I didn't want to put one on and instead healed it without the cast even though they told me I risked suffering from chronic ankle pain if it didn't heal correctly. Needless to say, two weeks after my doctor appointment I was gingerly walking on it.![]()
Though the pain was around for about four months, lol.
lmao epic!
So your obviously not black..
I twisted my left ankle 3 weeks ago and tore up three ligaments (as well as messing up 5 other ones, and once again re-tearing my lower calf muscle).
Complete tear of Anterior talofibular ligament.
Complete tear of Calcaneofibular ligament.
Complete tear of Dorsal calcaneocubiod ligament.
I'm still on crutches... but my foot looked alot like yours in the 1st picture. Fortunately, I won't require surgery.
BTW Buddy Holly (since medicine is always changing); used to they recommended complete immobilization of the ankle for ligament healing. Now they only recommend the air-cast 3-5 days after the injury, but only a compression sock (any tube sock) from thereafter. Immobilization can actually cause torn ligaments to attach to the wrong location - natural foot movements, hence, are required to properly align their reattachment during healing.
Norcal Just remember RICE.
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation.
And take some glucosamine/chondritin supplements to help speed up your recovery.
I appreciate it. What meds were you on? I'm just on naproxen sodium (over the counter). Ummm... I need to see my doc :X
Yeah... 500 mg Naproxen for the swelling (anti-inflammatory) and some Hydrocodone for the 1st couple of nights (pain) - my Doctor issued a prescription for only 8 pills so that I wouldn't abuse the painkillers.![]()
Stop whining and be a man.
Admit your leg got that way when you kicked the tv after you found out Hey Paula!
was canceled.
