Waxman and his committee has drafted a letter to the justice department to indict Clemens for perjury. They'll probably send it to the grand jury on an obstruction charge.
He's forcing Bushco's hand. He knows he'll pardon him.
why does bush like clemens? will he pardon bonds too?
It's all about Texas, Roger is a Texas guy and the Bush family used to own the Rangers.
i doubt it, too much of a PR hit for a guy who cares about his legacy.
His legacy is effectively ruined whether he gets convicted of perjury or not.
